                     Steps to Convert free Blogger to Private:

Blogger provides you life long free hosting so you nee to just purchase the Domain name and renew only the Domain name.

Step 1 : Go to the blogger 'Settings' Click on +Setup a third party URL for your blog, give the website address in the box provided and click on 'save' this must provide error 12/32.


Step 2:  Login at the website where you have purchased the domain name ( eg. godaddy)  --> visit your account dashboard.

Step 3: Click on '+ Domain ' --> 'Manage DNS'  besides your domain name ---> ' DNS ZONE FILE'.


Step 4: Under the CNAME Section give the values as shown in the blogger settings page.

             Save the Changes.

 Step 5:  Come back to blogger settings page and click on ' Save' again.

After all the above steps are done your site will open only when 'WWW' is used in the address but if you wish it to open with or without 'WWW' then additional  Settings is required.
