  1.  What are the differences between SQL Integration Services and Data Transformation Services?

A SQL integration service has complex and powerful error handling methods where as Data Transformation services has Limited Error Handling methods. You can find Message boxes in .net scripting while using SSIS and you can find Message Boxes in Activex scripts in DTS.There will be an Interactive Deployment wizard in SSIS and you cannot find such thing in DTS.One good advantage in SSIS is that there will be good number of transformations in SSIS where as The Number of Transformations are limited in DTS .Moreover There will be a complete BI integration in SSIS and no functionality is available in DTS.

SQL Integration services often called as SSIS is a major component of SQL Server and MSBI Process which helps to perform wide range of Data Migration and Transformation and Loading Operations. It provides a platform for workflow applications and also Integration purposes.

For the development of SSIS Projects various tools like Business Intelligence Development studio and SQL server Management studio are being used.

There are different types of typical errors in SSIS. Errors such as Data connection and Data Transformation Errors and also Expression evaluations errors we can find in SSIS

The Key Features of SSAS are It provides extensive support for various customized applications with scalable architecture that handles OLAP. It has a Flexible data model creation and management feature with ease of use with lot of wizards. It will not only provide integration of various administration tools but also several data sources, security and caching.

6.  What are the different languages used in SSAS?

SSAS uses Various Languages like Structured Query Language(SQL),Multi Dimensional Expressions(MDX),Data Mining Extensions (DMX) and also Analysis Services Scripting Language(ASSL)

SSRS Stands for SQL Server Reporting Services used for preparing and delivering interactive Reports which is being administered by Web based interface which are helpful for supporting and developing customized reporting applications.

8.  What are Data Driven Subscriptions?

In order to customize the distribute Reports to a large recipient pools or to a specific group of recipients based on Predefined criteria we will be using Data driven subscriptions

9.  What is the Functionality of Report manager in SSRS?

Report manager is a web application in SSRS which is being accessed by a URL. Based on the User Permissions we can access any functionality and all the features of the menu reporting.
